The Cariboo Family Enrichment Centre launched the Cariboo Kids program October 31st, 2014. It was one of the first nine Early Years Centres to open that year in British Columbia, supported by the Province of BC. Early Years Centres focused on improvement for services for children in their early years: the most crucial years in their development.

Cariboo Kids maintained this focus on successful outcomes for children as it has adapted into an Early Years Resource Centre. We provide access to information, resources and programs for parents, caregivers, and expecting parents of children ages 0-6. Operating as an easy-to-use hub, an Early Years Centre focuses on nurturing children and helping them develop to their best potential. Cariboo Kids supports the South Cariboo by providing information, upcoming event dates, referrals and programs online and in-person.
